The candidates and healthcare--a cool tool

Recently, I have been weighed down with a decision: Which presidential candidate will get my vote? Okay, okay. I have narrowed it down to just 2 (maybe 3) but the decision still feels difficult. One way that I have been able to find some important differences between the candidates is by looking at a topic I think about all the time--healthcare. I stumbled across a really cool tool put out by the Kaiser Family Foundation. It compares the healthcare platforms of the various candidates. Check it out!

Were you able to catch last night's democratic debate?

you rule. no...i wasn't. we were flying back from visiting Grandma D. The debates are so painful to watch, even though they're informative. I just hate the sparring!

Welcome to the blogosphere sis! thanks for the cool link. I'll have to spend some more time studying it. Although, I thought I was just supposed to pick the candidate who I would most like to go to the Lamplighter with (Hillary). BTW What are you going to name your blog? I don't know which direction you're looking to go, but if you need any suggestions just holler at me...

no, ben. you're supposed to vote for obama. you too kate. what's all this introspection about? also, it's funny that the VERY SAME DAY that kate told me she had sworn off looking at all blogs, she starts one of her own!

This is my first trip to Blogland, and one can get lost in here, following strands like the blogs of Ben and Dori. But ... I've been a fan of Barack (and interesting food that happens to be healthy) from day one. And now I'm going to try to navigate my way out of Blogland -- but I shall return!

So, that is a neat comparison thing. While I'm for sure in the Barack Camp, I'm a little worried about his health policy and hope that he fixes it when he's Prez. The problem is about whether health care is required (Hilary's plan) or just more affordable (Obama). There's evidence that it makes a big difference:

If that link doesn't work, it's on NY times, Paul Krugman: Clinton, Obama, Insurance.
Happy voting for those who get to vote tomorrow!

Thanks for the link, Eryn. I actually had JUST read that article a second ago, because my friend Dori had posted about it on her blog... Really good article. I wonder whether it's really that black and white, you know? I so wish I had the ability to analyze health care policy at that level... Ugh. Maybe in my next lifetime.

Go Obama but either way, let's get a Democrat up in this piece!
